Data Deletion Policy
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1 — From within the app
- Log in to DireWolfOS
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion
Option 2 — By email
- Email support@direwolfos.com
- Use subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include your account email address
- We will process your request within 30 days
Option 3 — Meta Data Deletion
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to DireWolfOS and wish to remove your data, you can also follow these steps:
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Click "Apps and Websites"
- Find DireWolfOS
- Click "Remove" and then "Delete Activity"
What Gets Deleted
Here's what happens to each type of data (some items are retained rather than deleted — see the "Action" column and "What We Retain" below):

What We Retain
After deletion we retain:
- Payment records for 5 years as required by South African law
- Anonymised and aggregated AI training data — this data has been stripped of all identifying information and cannot be linked back to you
- AI-generated outputs used to train our AI — performance insights, generated ad creatives, and research or ad copy that our AI created from your account's data up to the point of deletion. We keep these specifically to train and improve our AI models; they're DireWolfOS's own work product for that purpose, and are kept separately from your deleted personal information. The same applies if you disconnect a specific Meta ad account rather than deleting your whole account: outputs already generated from that ad account are retained for training, and we simply stop generating new ones from it once we no longer have access.
After Deletion
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
- You will lose access to DireWolfOS immediately
- All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days
- If you wish to use DireWolfOS again you will need to create a new account
